The Advanced Wound Care Program at Riverhead Care Center is committed to providing excellence in patient care, infection control, and healing. Coordinated by our staff physicians and wound care nurse, the interdisciplinary team evaluates and sets an individualized treatment plan for each resident, utilizing state-of-the-art technology including the wound-vac, pressure relieving beds and air mattresses. Our experienced team treats residents with vascular, diabetic, stasis and other non-healing wounds. In addition, our team of professionals assists patients recovering from wide-excision graft procedures.
